Experiments in Communication Circuits

This certificate program focuses on the fundamentals of communication circuits, specifically in data transmission. Data communication circuits encompass the media and equipment necessary for transferring data between devices, including any signal conversion tools. Participants will explore two primary circuit configurations: point-to-point and multipoint. Additionally, the course covers the five essential components of data communication systems: messages, senders, receivers, transmission mediums, and protocols. Students will also learn about the three main types of data communication: simplex, half-duplex, and full-duplex. Real-world applications, such as Local Area Networks (LAN) in homes, offices, and educational institutions, will be discussed to provide practical insights into networking.
